Vogue Publication / Cyhoeddiad Vogue - North Wales Photoshoot

This week, I had my first ‘people photo’ accepted into my Vogue Italia portfolio! I have had 4 landscapes accepted as part of my portfolio, but this is the first time that people have featured in my submission. I took this photo on holiday with my travel camera - the Sony A6000 (read more about that here). It’s my husband and our daughter splashing in the waves at Broad Haven in Pembrokeshire. If you know me personally, you’ll know that we don’t do fancy holidays - we’re happiest when we’re at the beach in summer or winter, just playing and splashing. So this summer, I used my Sony to document my daughter’s holidays, taking photos of whatever we were doing. It feels really fitting that the first people photo to be accepted features my family. I obviously love photography, but the reason I run my business is for them, so I love that they get the first feature in my Vogue portfolio and now are on my website too.
