Above all, I’m a Mama and a wife. And I love it. One of the reasons I became a photographer was because I realised that life speeds by at 100mph, and one day, all we’ll have is memories and photos. For someone like me, who has an awful memory, the ability to have something to hold in my hands, to show me exactly what a moment in the past looked like, is priceless. I started taking photos of my daughter so that I didn’t forget the little things, and suddenly realised that I could do this for other families too. I could give them a way to record and preserve their family’s story for them to look back on and hand down to the next generation.
